The 2026-2027 editorial year is the 27th anniversary of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. Each year HBTLJ hosts a symposium which features groundbreaking research and discussion from practitioners, law professors, and industry professionals. 

HBTLJ is excited to announce the 9th Annual University of Houston Law Center Denney L. Wright International Energy Tax Conference and the 27th Annual Houston Business and Tax Law Journal Symposium. This year the event will take place in-person Date and Time TBD followed by a reception TBD.
